PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

A leading food manufacturing company seeks to recruit a dynamic individual for the position of PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR.  Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the ideal candidate will execute the following duties:

• Supervise operations on shift to ensure production operates to meet set targets and standards.
• Ensure Plant operates at optimum capacity, efficiently and in clean and safe manner.
• Communicate information effectively and in a timely manner to all relevant personnel and or departments.
• To reduce waste and downtime to acceptable levels.
• To review and make recommendations for continuous improvement to production process. 

The ideal candidate must possess the following skills: 

• Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Decision making capacity and ability to handle internal conflicts on the shift

• Must be an excellent team leader and team player
• Must be computer literate
• Must have good troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work on own initiative
• Able to work under pressure 

Job Specifications:

• Graduate from a recognized tertiary institution.

• Five (5) years experience in Supervisory position including manufacturing process.
• Experience in Industrial Maintenance or Production Operation Management would be an asset.
