VACANCY

PEOPLE AND MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR
The successful candidate will be a team player with strong leadership qualities and requisite knowledge of the beverage industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To effectively and efficiently administer, co-ordinate and implement the company’s programs and policies relating to employee welfare and labor relations, staff training and development, and performance management, in keeping with the company’s objectives.
Specifically, the duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and administer employee welfare and labour relations programmes in keeping with the company’s strategies. Review new and existing programmes and make recommendations relating to the company’s policies in conjunction with the People and Management Manager;
- Administer the payroll process to ensure that all employees are correctly paid in a timely manner through accurate calculations and input of relevant payroll data for processing;
- Assist in the development and implementation of training and development and recruitment programmes, policies and strategies;
- Assist with interviewing, selecting and recruiting staff in conjunction with the managers of the respective departments, as required;
- Co-ordinate and conduct new employee orientation / onboarding programme in conjunction with Departmental Managers;
- Prepare annual objectives, strategic plans, action plans and budgets for the relevant areas of responsibility in conjunction with the People and Management Manager;
- Prepare monthly, annual and any other required reports;
- Analyze reports of absenteeism and time lost in the company and take appropriate action and make recommendations for improvement, as required in conjunction with Departmental Managers and the People and Management Manager;
- Provide guidance and counseling to staff.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary level qualification in Human Resource Management or any other related field;
- At least three (3) years experience in Human Resource Management and Payroll Administration;
- Sound knowledge of Industrial Relations and Jamaican Labour Law;
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office computer applications.

d) Highly developed human relations and conflict resolution skills.
e) Knowledge of the principles and practices of counseling.
