Operations Manager (Petroleum Industry)
Educational Qualifications
At least a First Degree in Engineering
Main Responsibilities/Activities:
Logistics & Supply (Fuels & Lubricants):
- Ensure that all Supply & Distribution activities are carried out in accordance with Group & REJL standards and guidelines
- Coordinate the supply of product with Government agencies and REC to ensure product availability at all times
- Manage the transit activities (import/export, customs clearance)
- Depot Management
- Manage the distribution installations, and operational interfaces with the JV and depot
- Facilities
- Ensure that all operational activities are carried out and facilities are operated in a safe and efficient and economical manner.
- Be the focal point for investigation of accidents / incidents within the division
- Participate in operations projects
- Manage the preparation and execution of Capex projects in Distribution, Retail, C&I and Corporate
Leadership:
- Responsible for driving the division to achieve and surpass business goals and objectives.
- Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external.
- Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the division
- Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement plans for the business infrastructure, and processes, to accommodate the growth objectives of the organization.
- Provide project support for Retail, Commercial and Depot Managers
- Develop and maintain good relations with all statutory and related organizations, contractors, and suppliers
- Fulfill all service level agreements with CoB (Retail, C&I, Fuels, Lubricants, Chemicals) in order to maintain and develop the customer base
- Participate in EMT for the overall development of the Company, and implementation of business assurance/compliance processes.
- Manage all HSSE matters linked to Operations activities
- Drive along CEO any matter related to HSE and deliver zero incident
Experience:
At least Ten (10) years’ experience, five (5) of which should be in the petroleum industry
