Operations Manager
Job Description
The Operations Manager provides leadership and operational direction for our managers in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. They are responsible for effectively and efficiently managing a region within the policies and guidelines of the company to ensure a great customer experience, build a winning team, increase sales and maximize profit.
Responsibilities/Duties:
• Leads by example, treating others with integrity and respect, while promoting a culture of hospitality.
• Builds a winning team of managers and employees through recruiting, training and development with meaningful, timely performance feedback and recognition.
• Ensures the delivery of high quality food and customer experiences that exceed expectations.
• Engages with operations, providing clear, consistent communications on a frequent basis with the Restaurant Managers.
• Plans, identifies, communicates and delegates key responsibilities and practices to the store management team to ensure smooth flow of operations within their area.
• Ensures OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy are met.
• Ensures maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds through the use of a preventative maintenance program.
• Controls profit & loss, by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
• Ensures complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing programs.
• Analyzes and evaluates management, restaurants and P & L statement information to determine alternate courses of action as required; translates company financial goals into individual restaurant plans.
• Acts as an agent of positive change while driving the implementation of company programs by motivating and supporting their restaurant management teams to develop and implement action plans that meet operational and organizational objectives.

• Good written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal, coaching and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong computer proficiency
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and public holidays as necessary
• Ability to travel as appropriate to the position..
Education and Work Experience:
• Tertiary Education in restaurant management or related field .
• minimum 5 years multi-unit experience with a restaurant or hospitality organization with a strong service orientation;
• Experience in the fast casual or quick service segment preferred.

• Incentive compensation will include short-term incentives commensurate with experience.
