Works closely with the CEO to define and develop the Company’s operational strategy, overall business goals and targets in collaboration with functional heads.
Developes, coaches and mentors a cohesive team
Provides strong leadership, motivates and manages direct reports to set and attain aggressive goals in accordance with Company’s overall objectives
Actively engage with employees, frequently visiting the stores and participating in regular training to expose teams to the purpose of the Company
Manages compliance with Company policies and procedures ensuring consistency in all areas
Develops and reviews written standard operating procedures, operaiton manual(s) and other policy documents for review by legal and executive management.
Creates additional standards of excellence responsive to customer needs while continually leading the organization towards being recognized as the best in the industry.
Ensures financial objectives are met through the application of cost-effective work standards in all operations. Analyze monthly and quarterly key management reports, budgets (plan versus actual), profit and loss statements, inventory and margin reports and communicate pertinent financial results to executive leadership.
Utilizes research data and reports to make informed decisions and action plans.
Implements and executes continuously inventory and financial controls.
Responsible for delivery of KPIs on the store operating statement.
Responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the store environment
Ensures that physical maintenance and safety standards meet required guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field
Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and generate fresh and innovative ideas
5 years relevant work experience in retail management within a multiple store organization
OR Extensive experience in the retail industry with a proven track record of accomplishments
While the afore-mentioned will be considered an asset it is not necessary. Alternative options will be given consideration.
