We are in the process of recruiting an Operational Buyer for our Bybrook Factory- this may be the perfect opportunity for you!
As Operational Buyer, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Creating Purchase Orders based on a contracts negotiated by Strategic Buyers.
- Transmitting approved Purchase Orders to suppliers, contractors and external vendors.
- Confirming receipt of purchase orders issued to suppliers and contractors.
- Coordinating the receipt of items such as goods, services and/or material procured from suppliers, contractors and external vendors (to include submission of weekly delivery schedules to internal stakeholders).
- Managing claims made by suppliers to include escalation of critical issues to buyers.
- Coordinating payments (including advance payments) to Contractors and Suppliers by ensuring timely receipt, approval and dispatch of vendor invoices.
- Maintaining files and providing an index for overseas and local purchase orders for internal/external audits.
To be our preferred candidate, you MUST have:
- A B.Sc. in Business Administration or Management Studies
- At least two (2) years’ experience in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain.
Although not a requirement, experience with SAP would be a distinct advantage.
