A small manufacturing retail company is seeking an Office Manager to organize and coordinate the office operations.

Office Manager

 Purpose

The Office Manager is responsible organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage weekly payroll for Staff.
  • Coordinate general administration of office.
  • Issue, record and authorize purchase orders.
  • Manage collections of accounts
  • Purchase and source all Materials
  • Planning and scheduling of material purchases and payments
  • Coordination of orders and deliveries
  • Manage Petty Cash
  • Coordination of vehicle service and purchasing of parts required
  • Scheduling of Meeting with Customers and Suppliers
  • Coordination of repair and service of equipment
  • Oversee deliveries and errands for driver
  • Rechecking of sales summary sheets and invoices, ensuring all correct and balances
  • Follow-up / communication with export customers for orders and execution of orders
  • Liaising with brokers for shipping documents for export orders
  • Coordination of deliveries for export orders
  • Collection of payment for export orders via US draft or wire transfers

 

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate be comfortable working in a Diego Martin Factory environment, will have a valid driver’s permit and their own transport.  Candidate cannot be limited to regular working hours.  

  • Five (5) CXC including Maths and English, additional qualifications would be considered an asset.
  • Three (3) years experience at Senior Administrative Level
  • Very effective organizational and time management skills
  • Computer skills including the Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), e-mail at a highly proficient level, knowledge of Quickbooks would also be an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Effective verbal, listening and written communications skills
  • Honest and trustworthy

SALARY: $6,000 - $7,000
