Directing and co-ordinating office services and related activities including developing and supervising programs for the maximum utilization of services and equipment.
Supervising and co-ordinating the activities of clerical and administrative support workers.
Arranging internal office moves and providing arrangements for office meetings.
Resolving customer complaints and answering customers' questions regarding policies and procedures.
Supervising the work of office, administrative or customer service employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems.
Providing employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems and in resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
Implementing corporate and departmental policies, procedures and service standards in conjunction with management.
Evaluating employees' job performance and conformance to regulations and recommending appropriate personnel action.
Facilitates day-to-day operations (such as distributing building access keys, etc.).
Reviewing records and reports pertaining to activities such as production, payroll and shipping to verify details, monitor work activities and evaluate performance.
Recruiting, interviewing and selecting employees.
Interpreting and communicating work procedures and company policies to staff
Discussing job performance problems with employees to identify causes and issues and to work on resolving problems.
Training and instructing employees in job duties and company policies or arrange for training to be provided.
Negotiating the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment etc. for the entire staff in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.
Any other related task that supports the job function of Office Manager.
