KEY FUNCTIONS
Supervises, oversees and administers the activities of the Occupational Therapy Department
Assesses, plans, develops and designs programs, which promote, restore and maintain the clients’ abilities to cope with daily activities and prevent dysfunction.
Plans and implements programs to assist long-term clients in adjusting to institutional life.
Tests and evaluates patients’ physical and mental abilities and analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals for patients.
Provides training and supervision in therapy techniques for Occupational Therapy Aides, students and other health providers/employees.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT AND EXPERIENCE
