OPERATIONS TRAINEE

The Operations Trainee is accountable for the safe completion of tasks, and for producing profitable, high quality and effective service to external and internal clients.

Typical tasks may include:

  1. Assist is production scheduling, management and control.
  2. Monitor Inventory
  3. Providing relief coverage for operational duties when employees utilize time-off or are absent from the shift.
  4. Works with the Team to ensure that the organization provides excellent internal and external customer service; aids in resolution of any customer complaints.
  5. Maintains work standards for quality and quantity of work with an emphasis on quality seamless customer service and zero complaints.
  6. Assists with maintaining excellent relationships with “key” clients, and conducting facility tours for existing and potential clients.
  7. Responsible maintenance of facilities including grounds keeping, overall facility cleanliness and scheduled maintenance on operational machinery and vehicles.
  8. Provide oversight of daily sales van

 

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • BA degree in Business or other relevant field
  • Minimum of two years relevant experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Incumbent must show an aptitude for Customer Service
  • Incumbent must demonstrate a strong developed competence in the following skill sets:
    • Organizational, motivational, leadership and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Multitasking skills
    • Analytical skills
    • Reporting skills
