NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementation of the company’s information technology infrastructure to ensure the achievement of established corporate objectives and user satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to the company and end users with respect to resolving issues with their ICT network and infrastructure

• Liaise with suppliers of network and infrastructure equipment, services, and system software regarding the maintenance, upgrade, and purchases as it pertains to the company’s network.

• Develop, recommend, and implement policies, systems, plans and programmes so as to ensure maximum uptime of the company’s networks and ICT infrastructure

• Keep abreast of ICT developments; make recommendations that would be beneficial to developments of ICT in the organisation.

• Provide technical advice, guidance, support/assistance and on the job training for system users so as facilitate the achievement of established objectives and satisfy approved standards and specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in ICT with focus on telecommunications and networking or MCSE certificate or equivalent accreditation
• At least 3 years’ experience in similar or related job function
• Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of information and communications technology (ICT) policies, practices
• Good Interpersonal, negotiating and communication skills
