The National Training Agency (NTA)is the governmental organization designated to monitor, co-ordinate, and promote, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), in Trinidad and Tobago, under the line Ministry of Science, Technology and Tertiary Education.

The Placement Development Officer is responsible for placing trainees in the public or private sector and generating placement opportunities for trainees by marketing the programme.
The Trainer is responsible for assisting in the initial thrust of induction / orientation and training of new tutors, and retraining existing Life Skills tutors, in effective delivery of the revised Life Skills Education Curriculum.
