Job Title: Merchandising Supervisor/Sub-Distribution Coordinator
Division: Merchandise
JOB SUMMARY :
Administer all phases of the management process to insure effective and timely customer service and response. Formulates, communicates, implements and evaluates strategies and tactical sales plans. Evaluate inside (customer service etc.) and outside sales performance.
Provides coaching and development support to improve capabilities of the Merchandising team.
Responsibilities and Duties to Include but not Limited to:
Assist with the implementation of sales and marketing activities for the TTD channel to ensure that sales target and other KPIs are met.
Conduct surveys and provide feedback on market opportunities to inform management decision making process.
Provide the Guidance to the TTD channel in exploring new business opportunity consistent with business objectives
Monitor the sales activity of the Traditional Trade and provide feedback and recommendation to improve the process
Provide information that will form the basis of the performance assessment of the Traditional Trade
Implement programs and policies that will generate sales growth in each territory
Prepare marketing and sales report on the activities of the competition and the Tradition Trade
Explore and make recommendation on the distribution options to improve market penetration
Monitor the sales and distribution activities of the Traditional channel
Ensure that customers shelves are stocked and respective secondary displays are maintained
Ensure properly rotation of products through the organized processes of best before dates
Ensure that customers' backroom/freezer inventory organization in ensuring FIFO
Ensuring Point of Sale materials are placed on shelves and displays
Maintain a timely and accurate call schedule for all Merchandisers within territory assigned
Establish and maintain a rapport with key store individuals
Team with Route Sales Rep to service store accounts within workload requirements
identify and communicate individual store problems and opportunities to the appropriate person
REPORTS TO: Sales Manager (dotted line to : Kraft Trade Planner)
SUPERVISION : Merchandisers and Sub-Distributor in Assigned Territory
ACADEMIC/QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Have a first degree in Business Administration/Marketing or any other business related area
REQUIRED SKILLS AND SPECIALIZED TECHNIQUES
Must be computer literate
Own and operate a reliable motor car
Supervisory experience and advantage
Possess above average interpersonal and problem solving skills
Experience with the distributive trade a distinct advantage
Ability to work weekends and late evenings where necessary
Ability to sustain physical work ethis in a fast -paced work environment and meet the defined physical activities, (lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling etc)
Ability to meet work – load requirements with timely efficiency

Ability to work independently
