JOB SUMMARY

To effectively manage the merchandising of AMCO’s products.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• To visit assigned customers on a weekly basis
• To prepare daily call reports  detailing all activity during customer visits
• To meet regularly with sales representatives to determine customer needs and solve any merchandising issues
• To increase and maintain shelf share and facings
• To ensure that all Gondola end rentals are well stocked
• To ensure that all back stock from outlet’s warehouse are placed on shelf
• To ensure the proper shelf placement of the company’s Point of Purchase materials- shelf talkers, posters and leaflets
• To remove expired stock from retail outlet shelves and notify retailer and Brand manager of expired stock for collection
• To ensure that all products on display are properly priced
• To maintain shelf layout in keeping with planograms
• To advise retailers and their staff on the display of products
• To continuously examine the market and report on competitive methods, products and prices
• To expeditiously deal with customer complaints and requests
• Perform other related duties as required by job function

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 3 CXC passes, which must include Mathematics and English Language
• A minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar environment
