MERCHANDISERS

                              

KEY FUNCTIONS: 

Creatively merchandise all products delivered to retail store and ensure that shelves are adequately displayed.

KEY DUTIES: 

  • Stock shelf to ensure that there is proper rotation of goods
  • Take customer orders and relay to the sales office
  • Assist with in stores “push”  promotion
  • Check inventory on the shelf and remove expired products
  • Check customers’ orders against deliveries.
  • Check for any product issues and report back to Management.
  • Address customer complaints or bring it to Management attention.
  • Feedback market intelligence to Management, for example, new products, price increases etc.
  • Prepare and submit relevant reports to Management.
  • Perform other related duties as required by job function. 

Education & Training:

  • High School Certificate and a minimum of 2 years’ experience

 

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Knowledge of merchandising of food products.  

 

Core competences:

  • Good communications skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Willing to use initiative
  • Attention to detail

 

Working Conditions:

  • Regular outside sales  environment
  • Regular working hours as assigned by the Manager
  • Required to work overtime, weekends  and extended hours sometimes
