College of Science, Technology & Applied Arts of T&T

The College of Science, Technology & Applied Arts of Trinidad & Tobago (COSTAATT) was established in October 2000, by Act 77, 2000 of Parliament, based on the amalgamation of six existing tertiary level institutions into a single multi-campus college that awards bachelor’s and associate degrees, diplomas and certificates in a wide range of specialized, technical and academic programmes.

COSTAATT’s vision is to be a student-centred, dynamic and innovative, world-class multi-campus college, promoting excellence in teaching and learning, serving diverse communities and producing lifelong learners who can compete globally.

COSTAATT’s mission is to be the premier educational institution in providing high-quality, affordable and accessible educational programmes serving the needs of business, industry and the diverse campus communities, and facilitating the personal and professional development of its students, faculty and staff.

As one of the largest national public tertiary level educational institutions in Trinidad and Tobago, COSTAATT serves the broader interests of the national community by supporting, maintaining and expanding access to tertiary level education and since its inception has graduated over 16,000 students in disciplines such as Information Technology, Management, Nursing, Health Sciences, Environmental Management, Liberal Arts, and Human Services at the following locations:
