Location

The National Meats facility is set on 10.5 acres in the town of Lydford, St. Ann. Located in a valley, the facility is shielded from hurricanes and is built to withstand up to 180 mph/290kph (Category 5) winds.

It is approximately 90 minutes from the capital city of Kingston, 120 minutes from the second city of Montego Bay, and 30 minutes from the north coast town of Ocho Rios.

Company Overview

Established in 1985 by David G. Phillips as a wholesaler of beef to the local hotel sector; National Meats & Food Distributors Ltd. has expanded to be the largest and the most consistently reliable supplier of not only meats, but a diverse range of refrigerated products to the hotel, retail, wholesale and restaurant trades in Jamaica.

Distribution Overview

We are the primary distributors of packaged bulk products to the food service & retail markets and the exclusive distributors of chilled and frozen products to the leading restaurant chains in Jamaica, namely: TGIFriday’s, Hard Rock Café, KFC, Subway, Wendy’s and Pizza Hut.

Our client base of 850 customers consists of but is not limited to hotels/resorts, restaurants, local and international fast food chains (QSR’s), government institutions, retail and wholesale chains/stores.

Some of the products we distribute include the highest quality beef, lamb, mutton, fresh & processed pork, poultry, seafood, french fries, imported fruits and vegetables, frozen pasta, dairy products etc.

Our distribution line consists of over 20 brands with exclusive distribution rights for Ben & Jerry’s, Tip Top, Kraft & Tyson frozen products.
