Description
  • Ensure compliance of the company with all the terms and conditions defined in its contract with

     Methanex Trinidad Limited.

  • Ensure that all work performed is of the highest quality through the development of the requisite systems and audits.
  • Lead the execution of routine daily maintenance, assuring that all allocated responsibilities are dealt with accordingly.
  • Accountable for the quality and accuracy of maintenance work carried out as well as assuring the accuracy of maintenance execution reports.
  • Ensure staff training and development programs are properly implemented.
  • Ensure performance management system is properly implemented with staff.
  • Provide technical support to team members, which may include process and equipment modification, failure analysis reports, ensuring job scope of work is complete and clear, writing/reviewing maintenance procedures, ensuring that equipment history is up to date.
  • Assure Asset Integrity standards are maintained.
  • Compile accurate reports of any failure or incidents affecting production or property of the Client.
  • Review Work Orders with Operations Coordinator and Maintenance Supervisior to develop a weekly work schedule.
  • Support the maintenance effort on the plant by planning, prioritizing and scheduling work on the plant, all the time ensuring that the safety and reliability of the plant is acceptably managed and properly documented and implemented.
  • Process Risk Management - HAZOPs, what if scenario-analysis to identify hazards, evaluate and reduce risks and manage residual risk.
  • Liaise with operations to analyse and solve operational and performance problems, creating corrective job orders when required.
  • Active participation in the investigation of incidents.
  • Assign work orders to subordinates according to priorities, review skill required to effect plant repairs, ensuring that adequate manpower is available.
