Rancho Quemado Estates Ltd (RQEL EST 2007) owns 45 acres of old citrus/banana/cocoa estate of which 20 acres has since been revitalized. RQEL is involved in cocoa bean post harvest production and sales, hydroponic plant production and sales, tilapia aquaponics, honey production and sales, manure production, and packages and sells cocoa products namely; cocoa powder, cocoa butter, creole cocoa (like granny used to make it), and cocoa nibs. RQEL conducts tours to the public educating them on our products while they enjoy our mini nature trail and zoo. Marketing/Sales professional 



  • 10 years experience in marketing and sales and business development with extensive knowledge of the cocoa industry as well as 5 years working in the cocoa industry
  • Bachelors degree in marketing.
  • Must be confident in a selling environment that entails internet or software products & services.
  • Must be able to manage all online marketing systems including website and social media.
  • Must possess a passport and visas to travel out of country.
  • Must own a vehicle for accommodated business use.
  • Possibly understand and speak Spanish.
  • Must be a non-smoker.
  • Must be able to provide a letter of good character.
  • Excellent verbal (educated bullshit as necessary) and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Above average desktop computer skills with experience in up to date software including google apps.
  • Develop new business opportunities to meet trends
  • Conduct research and development activities
  • Help develop and implement strategic sales plans
  • Facilitate client requirement meetings – both in person and/or remotely using current online presentation applications
  • Report weekly sales forecasts
  • Develop market analysis to identify customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates
  • Stay current with client needs, competition, and industry trends
  • Deliver sales presentations/proposals to prospective clients with a successful closing rate
  • Develop and manage client & agency relationships
  • Evaluate accounts
  • Manage projects to make sure that they get completed in a timely manner 
  • Responsible for assisting with sales/marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations
