The Marketing and Sales Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining marketing and sales strategies designed to support company objectives. The role leads the retail stores, the ecommerce and bulk sales teams including corporate sales and wholesaling.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing and evaluating effectiveness of plans: a. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans within set budgets, while analyzing trends and results. b. Develop actionable online marketing strategies to meet company objectives. c. Design and implement sales plans that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the market. d. Seek to achieve annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results. e. Collaborate with the Finance Department and the Executive to establish sales objectives for branches, website and business-to-business revenue streams.

2. Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, recommending improvements, and initiating corrective actions. a. Prepare, monitor and manage marketing and sales budgets. b. Assist with the decision making relating to sales volume and product mix by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. c. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs. d. Recommend selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand. e. Provides ongoing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. f. Conducts and reports on ongoing market research.

3. Translates company brand strategies into brand plans and brand positioning: a. Consistently analyses how our brand is positioned in the market and utilize customer insights to guide strategies aimed at achieving our desired brand position. b. Ensure all marketing activities conform and support the actualization of the desired brand position. c. Translates brand position into a strong and consistent brand identity that achieves the desired marketplace advantages. d. Helps improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; collaborating on new product development.

4. Achieves sales goals for Retail stores, Ecommerce website and Business to Business sales, reporting regularly on sales efforts: a. Oversee and support the ecommerce website, business to business sales and wholesaling initiatives as set by the company. b. Oversee the development and implementation of corporate sales policies and practices. c. Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team. d. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status. e. Maintains rapport with key accounts exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities.

5. Develops and executes promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives: a. Develop promotional campaigns and oversee the proper execution of initiatives. b. Evaluate promotional campaigns utilizing proven marketing metrics. c. Liaise with external parties in order to produce creative material for marketing initiatives. d. Ensures customer emails, texts and social media communications are prepared and executed. e. Write creative briefs, radio advertising scripts and print advertising copy. f. Source advertising opportunities and schedule advertising. g. Coordinate promotional events. h. Regularly visits sales centers to observe the execution of marketing and promotional initiatives.

6. Other: a. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. b. Support the development and maintenance of a team environment by performing other related duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration

• Minimum 5 years of relevant marketing experience and management experience

• A vehicle
