Marketing Director

Invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of: 

Marketing Director 

The incumbent will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive, data-driven, measurable marketing and communication strategy. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Marketing Strategy:

  • Lead the offline and online marketing strategies that deliver measurable impact on brand awareness and lead generation for villa rentals, lot sales, and villa sales
  • Lead internal and external creative, communications and marketing professionals to develop and distribute compelling offline and online content aligned with marketing and sales goals
  • Conduct ongoing market/competitive analysis to continually improve customer service and evolve products and services
  • Have familiarity with marketing and customer conversion tracking tools
  • Create effective marketing programs for brokers as well as villa home owners in support of villa sales and rentals

Branding:

  • Refine brand identity and enhance awareness levels with key target market segments
  • Develop communication plans that reflect the brand’s value proposition
  • Lead ongoing efforts around customer insights and feedback reports

Product and Service Marketing and Communications:

  • Identify co-marketing channel opportunities
  • Serve as a spokesperson for The Tryall Club at events and conferences both in Jamaica and internationally
  • Establish and lead efforts to support The Tryall Club’s industry promotions, events and conferences

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • BSc. Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of five (7) years experience in the travel or hospitality industry 
  • Demonstrated track record of success in marketing initiatives to include developing and executing marketing strategies
  • Verifiable relationships with community and professional associations both in Jamaica and overseas
  • Strong communication and presentations skills and abilities to motivate and influence people at all levels
  • Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently with strong work ethics
  • Dynamic, disciplined, and goal oriented
  • Ability to function at maximum efficiency in a high pressure/stressful environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
