MARKETING ASSISTANT

Marketing Assistant will be required to provide a high level of support for the Sales Department.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of tenders and quotations for the department
• Research prices and competitors
• Perform general clerical and administrative duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing
• Liaise with customers and foreign suppliers in a highly professional manner and assist with queries
• Answer telephone, screen calls, transfer to the relevant staff member and to take messages when appropriate
• Assist the Coordinator with development of marketing materials
• Assist with follow-up of customers quotations and purchase orders
• Distribute documents to staff members where appropriate

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of Five (5) O’ Level passes which must include a Science subject.
• Three (3) years experience in a customer-focused environment
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• A Diploma in Sales/ Marketing will be an asset
• Must have excellent administrative skills
• The ability to multitask effectively with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills
• Dynamic and strong interpersonal skills
• The ability to prioritize and show initiative
