The Manager Marketing and New Media will be responsible for, marketing “T&T exports” as a brand, locally and internationally, implementing and managing the company’s overall marketing and communications strategy, developing brand awareness, and engaging stakeholders.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities
Develops and maintains marketing strategies which encompasses marketing to exporTT clients and the marketing of Trinidad and Tobago exports.
Analyses the information collected by the Export Department as well as the Research and Policy Unit to develop new services for exporTT clients.
Develops relevant marketing tools and strategies for export markets, with the objectives of strengthening the Trinidad & Tobago exports brand and facilitating penetration of targeted export markets.
Coordinates all marketing, advertising and promotional activities.
Monitors, reviews and reports on all marketing activity and results.
Determines and manages the marketing budget.
Develops and implements the social media strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the Company to ensure its effectiveness.
Ensures cohesion between media messaging and organizational strategy, vision and values.
Manages advertising agency and media relations.
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
Post Graduate qualification is an asset.
Five (5) years related experience.
Public sector Experience.
Experience in digital marketing, new product development, web design and management are assets.
Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies.
Experience in customer and market research.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Formal presentation skills.
Good organization and planning skills.
Project management skills.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Linkedin etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.
Strong team-leadership skills.
