The successful candidate will be required to ensure that the NIBTT is adequately staffed with the best talent to ensure achievement of its Mandate, Mission and Corporate Objectives.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
Develops and implements manpower planning, policies, processes and strategies.
Develops and manages the preparation and updating of the National Insurance Board Trinidad andTobago’s (NIBTT) manpower plan.
Manages the preparation and consolidation of the Annual Human Resource Requirements Budget.
Reviews proposals/requests from Business Unit Heads for Human Resources requirements.
Prepares short and long term manpower forecasts/ projections.
Manages the preparation and submission of related reports including manpower summaries, movement analysis and demographics.
Develops and manages the organization’s recruitment selection and retention strategies to ensure the best candidates are selected and the recruitment process is conducted efficiently and cost effectively, in accordance with the organization’s policies/procedures and best practice.
Evaluates external labour market conditions and internal employee turnover trends and recommend changes to organization recruitment and selection strategies as necessary.
Partners with external agencies and other professional bodies to attract competent resources; ensuring that a pool of qualified candidates is readily available to the NIBTT
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Management
A Post Graduate Diploma/Degree Human Resource Management or Business Management or equivalent combination of training and experience.
At least five (5) years in a managerial role as part of a Human Resource Team in a major institution.
At least ten (10) years as a generalist or specialist in the Human Resource field including five (5) years at a Managerial Level
