Manage export promotions. acquire info for market entry. Trade missions. Advise exporters. Develop market entry strategies.

POSITION OPEN ONLY TO PERSONS HOLDING AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO AND PRESENTLY LIVING IN TRINIDAD.

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Management Studies, Economics or Business Studies, International Business or related discipline with Post Grad training in related discipline.

Five years experience in a similar position with at least three at a supervisory/managerial level.

Sound knowledge of business operations in Trinidad and Tobago with in-depth knowledge of the export of goods and services and of trading practices and agreements between Trinidad and Tobago and international trading partners.

Knowledge of the operations and reporting for state agencies will be an asset.

THE JOB

involves planning end executing projects to increase growth and diversification of exports. Market surveys to acquire information required for market entry.  Trade missions and shows and business advisory to exporters and the development of market entry strategies.  Ensure activities of unit aligned to company strategic plan.

- Develop mission schedules based on research and stakeholder feedback and continuously revise mission model to ensure maximum impact.

- Approve proposals and manage budget and project funds.

- Management, training, motivation and HR generally of team.

- Research new trade promotions practices and implement where possible.

- Represent company at trade related events and conferences and lead and coordinate Missions.

- Related functions.

Compensation package $15,500 to $19,500 per month plus benefits in accordance with qualifications and experience.
