The successful candidate will be required to design and implement strategies to ensure employer and self-employed compliance with the statutory obligations of the National Insurance Act.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
Management of the NIBTT’s Employer Compliance Function.
To develop/ review the organization’s employer compliance and debt recovery strategies and co-ordinate the implementation of approved strategies.
To assess employer / self-employed needs and identify service strategies.
Represent the NIBTT on Committees dealing with Compliance Function.
To assess and address major debtor compliance issues.
To develop quality measurements for Authorized Officers’ performance.
To co-ordinate the preparation of informational material and educational programs on employer compliance.
To promote electronic data and contribution submission by employers.
To work with the Manager Corporate Communications and other managers in developing marketing plans for products and services.
Develop strategies in line with the NIBTT’s Strategic Objectives.
Develop and implement a document for the monitoring and measurement of the Compliance activities (Internal and External).
To develop and implement the appropriate audit strategies.
Review internal audit reports and implement recommendations.
Prepare and manage budget.
Manage Debt Collection and Legal Procedures.
Prepare and implement Training Courses for Authorized Officers to ensure standardization.
Lead the team.
Manage the performance of immediate subordinates, providing advice on technical and administrative matters.
Manage Government Debt and the IRIS Program.
Manage the Human Resources function as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management
Post Graduate Degree in Auditing, Accounting or another related field
A minimum of five (5) years experience in a managerial position
At least three (3) years experience as an Authorized Officer or Debt Recovery Officer.
