MAINTENANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL SUPERVISOR
1.0 PURPOSE & SCOPE: TO DEVELOP, IMPLEMENT AND MAINTAIN QUALITY SYSTEM
This position is two fold with responsibilities in Maintenance and Quality Control activities.
Maintenance - responsible for monitoring, scheduling, facilitating and carrying out of all emergency, routine and preventative maintenance on all equipment, tooling, vehicles and building throughout the facilities as directed by the Operations Manager.
Required to exercise considerable independent judgment and initiative in dealing with day to day issues that occur and will have to balance their time accordingly so as to achieve maximum productivity.

KEY DUTIES - MAINTENANCE
2.1 Ensure you follow and promote the Company’s Health and Safety Standards, ensuring the proper use of all issued PPE at all times, following OSHA and manufacturers’ recommended safety policies and precautions.
2.2 Plan, organise and control all maintenance activities under the guidelines of the Operations Manager, liasing with other department Supervisors as required to manage vehicle and equipment maintenance to support the Company’s operations and reduce downtime.
2.3 Perform weekly vehicle checks, scheduling regular service appointments and ensuring yearly inspections are carried out.
2.4 Perform daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checks on all factory and installation equipment, ensuring all are maintained to manufacturer’s specifications.
2.5 Schedule and oversee all building and compound maintenance (plumbing, electrical, structural, inner & outer aesthetics, etc.).
2.6 Maintain nd provide recommendations for quantity and type of spare parts to stock as nventory.
2.7 Manage he Factory’s consumables so as to maintain ideal stock quantities as re-determined, placing orders on a weekly basis or as needed.
2.8 Manage he issuing and retrieval of community based tools, ensuring they are kept in ood working order.
2.9 Log and make quarterly random checks on all issued tools to installation members, advising the Operations Manager on any discrepancies.
2.10 Assist with the timely procurement of raw materials as required by the factory and installation departments for the successful completion of Company jobs.
2.11 During slow or inactive periods, assist in other departments (be flexible) as directed.
2.12 Perform any ad hoc duties deemed appropriate by management.
KEY DUTIES – QUALITY CONTROL
Monitor feedback on all manufactured products by reviewing all Quality Report Summaries and instituting corrective measures to improve quality standards on recurring errors
3.0 TRAINING
3.1 Undergo training as required by Management and train staff under your supervision.
4.0 ORGANISATION RELATIONSHIPS
4.1 The Maintenance & Quality Control Supervisor reports primarily to the Operations Manager, but also has functional responsibilities to all Supervisors, Managers and Executive Directors.
