Or Client is looking for a successful incumbent to fill the position of Logistics Analyst.
Logistics and Marketing Assistant
To manage the orders placed by distributors of 22 recipient markets in the company, ensuring excellent customer service delivering orders on time and in full, while managing the supply chain and logistical activities with the five (5) supplying factories in alignment to the company policies and guidelines.
i. Operations/Professional/Business
• Supports the translation process of the Demand Forecast for each market into a Shipping Plan in line with the company timetable.
• Monitors progress of all orders from placement to delivery (versus shipping plan), preparing stock and cost analytical reports to minimize out of stocks and reduce operational costs communicating to distributors to achieve delivery within specified company targets.
• Support with preparation of the On Time In Full (OTIF) report and analyzes root cause in order to prevent recurrent delays or shortages.
• Monitors and reports write-off activity, for management purposes.
• Prepares analytical reports for management information purposes as required.
• Inputs Company Plan volume and revised estimates as necessary; to support strategic planning and communication process.
• Maintains the department’s filing system as RM Coordinator ensuring the proper indexing and filing of all correspondence for easy retrieval and adherence to the Records Management Policy.
• Take reasonable care of health and safety of oneself and others whilst at work, and co-operate fully with the Company in all health and safety related matters.
• Support Marketing Analyst with data entry, validation, presentation preparation (power point), follow up with Area Managers for various reports/ feedback.
• General marketing department support as required
ii. Management
• Manages the Order Processing System, ensuring that all orders received are processed, and the necessary documentation required are prepared and distributed on a timely basis (including Order Confirmation, Purchase Orders, Invoices, etc)
• Coordinate the 'Terms of Trade' database and verifies consistency with Customer invoicing for validation by Territory Manager.
• Manages the Customer Complaint Database reporting monthly on cost impact.
• Manages the OTP Distribution for the three (3) OTP Customers to ensure market demand is met and shipment plan is optimized and executed.
iii. Leadership
• Demonstrates awareness of own impact on others.
• Demands discipline of self and others to raise standards and deliver stretch results.
iv. Relationship
• Provides Customer Service support to the various distributors and internal departments
v. Innovation General
• Operates as a support function in a team-based, process oriented operation.
Knowledge and Experience & Skills
• ABE or Associates of Arts Degree (2 year)
• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• University Degree (BA or BS), preferably in a business related field (asset)
• Advanced Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, including Advanced Excel and Power Point). Good Communication (oral and written) Skills.
