Our client, a leading law firm in Grand Cayman, is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Legal Secretary to join their team.
Key responsibilities:
- General secretarial duties, including audio transcription; drafting legal documents; organizing and coordinating meetings/travel arrangements; taking, typing and distributing minutes of meetings
- Generally liaising with clients and lawyers
Successful candidate:
- At least 5 years secretarial experience in a professional office environment.
- Previous experience in a legal environment would be an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Typing speed of 55wpm with complete accuracy
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, professionalism, excellent oral and written communications skills and good organizational skills. You will use your initiative and will work well under pressure to meet deadlines. Ability to work overtime at short notice and occasionally at weekends will be required.
Our client is offering an attractive salary package reflective of experience, as well as 4 weeks paid vacation, health insurance and pension.
