The Lecturer is responsible for the delivery of courses in the College’s Co-operative Studies academic programme.
Position Summary
This position is a full-time position under the review of the Head of Department and is responsible for the teaching of courses at all levels in the College’s Co-operative Studies programme up to the level of Bachelor’s Degree.
Key Duties
Designs and develops course outlines of the academic programmes taught in alignment of current Co-operative Studies practices.
Prepares lesson plans and delivers lectures to students through the use of appropriate methods and techniques including audio visual aids and other electronic modes.
Prepares, administers and grades examinations, projects and coursework assignments to evaluate students’ performance.
Guides and counsels students in academic matters.
Assists the department in the review of the existing Co-operative Studies courses/programmes.
Participates as a member of College committees.

Key Competencies
Qualifications and Experience
Masters in Co-operative Management / Development Studies, Business Studies, MBA or related studies from a recognised and reputable institution of learning.
At least five (5) years teaching experience at a tertiary level, in an adult learning environment.
Demonstrated experience of either working or serving in the co-operative sector Co-operative Sector would be an asset.
Equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
Salary: TT$11,500.00 – TT$13,000.00
