Learning & Development Manager
Job Summary:
Manage team of Learning & Development Specialists in planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delivering Amazon’s product and systems training to new and existing Customer Service Representatives, while promoting commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Manage the activities involved in the design, preparation, delivery and needs assessments for training and development programs.
•Plan and design training modules.
•Formulate and implement curricula based on knowledge and understanding of business unit objectives and departmental needs.
•Implement training through the use of diverse activities and teaching styles
• Develop methods for evaluating the effectiveness of the training program in order to continuously improve on processes.
•Work on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
•Exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Frequently interact with functional peer groups.
•Provide feedback on training programs
•Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others.
•Provide direct supervision to individual contributors.
Ideal candidate should possess the following:
•First degree and /or related experience
•Strong planning and organizational skills
• Experience in staff interactions and ability to communicate with all levels of staff
•Good conflict resolution skills and strong interpersonal skills at both an individual and team level
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills especially report writing
•Demonstrate strong leadership skills
•Ability to handle multiple tasks, details and interruptions
•Strong PC skills (Word/Excel)
•Complete understanding of company’s products, and processes (including call and operating platforms and applications.
•Ability to work on own initiative with excellent time management skills
•Adaptable and able to move with change while maintaining a positive attitude.
•Ability to analyze training needs within large call center environment.
