Our Client is seeking to fill the position of Key Account Manager
KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
JOB PROFILE
To negotiate Business Plans for assigned accounts and maintain and develop Company’s Products while ensuring the control and analysis of the Client’s KPI thus, achieving Business’s profitability goals.
MAIN OBJECTIVES (RESPONSIBILITIES)
* Planning and developing action plans as well as the necessary activities and programs to achieve commercial objectives of the zone/channel.
* Carrying out the sales process by taking stocks, revising purchases orders and filling up orders for the Order Entry and also by sending the orders via Mobile Sales in order to ensure that such orders are dispatched according to established schedule
* Participating in meetings and negotiations with relevant clients of the channel.
* Elaborating the respective reports with the necessary information for the Managerial decision making, in order to reach objectives.
* Planning monthly meetings with each distributor to present them monthly sales and distribution indicators of the previous month, as well as plans and actions to be executed in the following months
* Scheduling meetings to present monthly indicators of sales and distribution of the previous month, as well as action plans to be implemented to improve performance during following months.
* Guarantee the margin products’ profit, by studying the market behaviour, in order to ensure their profitability for the client.
* Keeping a healthy level of stocks in the client’s warehouses, by controlling the excesses and balances of product, in order to ensure the satisfaction of the clients.
* Elaborating monthly, the quarterly forecasts of sales for the group of clients assigned, by maintaining the level of certainty established by the Company as to comply with the policies of the Company.
* Recording the different products to their clients in order to support the introduction and positioning of new products in the market, throughout the maintenance of the mix on the distribution channel.
* Developing and monitoring the Promotional investment Budget of his/her clients, through controlling and updating all documents backing the investment in order to provide a service that meets customer expectations.
* Effectively manage the credit portfolio through the analysis and collection in order to avoid retained orders and keep a portfolio within established limits.
* Coordinating, together with the Department of Distribution, timetables for delivering merchandise requested by the clients, with the purpose of ensuring a timely delivery.
* Keeping good communication and relationship with clients, through periodic visits in order to analyse the behaviour of the business and keep a sound commercial relationship.
* Identifying training and counselling needs of the Client’s staff (wholesalers, distributors and supermarkets) through regular meetings.
* Planning Sale Forecasts for both Clients and Sale Representatives, based on the analysis of statistic data and market behaviour, to establish plans for achieving the objectives
* Participating in meetings with Supervisors of Merchandising, Sales Force Managers and Brand Managers in order to program and develop activities to strengthen the products at Sale Points and also follow up established processes.
* Actively participate and support the implementation of all improvement and development plans promoted by the Company.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field
* Four (4) years experience in similar positions

* Experience in Sales of mass consumption products
* Knowledge of Marketing and Merchandising Techniques
* Knowledge of Financial Analysis
* Knowledge of SAP
* Good Command of the English Language
