Kenson School of Production Technology

KSPT PROFILE 

The Kenson School of Production Technology (KSPT), a subsidiary of the Kenson Group of Companies, is a post-secondary technical school registered with the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT) on 23 July 2009. The School operates within an integrated services approach to the oil and gas industry. The Group provides Operations and Maintenance services to many major companies in the industry and the school complements these core services through its range of programmes in operations and maintenance. As such the school is able to harness relevant up-to-date information on a real-time basis to deliver a wide range of technical courses to existing employees from many companies and new entrants alike. These new entrants include secondary school graduates or adults who wish to transition from other industries to the oil and gas industry. 

As required by Chapter 39:06 of the Education Act of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the school was registered with the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago in 2009 for the maximum period of three (3) years and has already fulfilled its obligations for re-registration in July 2012. The school has forged a growth path since achieving registration with the ACTT in 2009 building on a practical based approach to competency development and emphasizing quality delivery and a student-centric culture while maintaining its close association and international affiliations to enhance student learning and development.
