JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team to achieve success and sales targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Identifies and implements a sales plan in order to achieve sales targets including revenue, gross profit and revenue mix required by the company. Provides a detailed action plan to ensure that the target will be achieved on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
2. Manages and coaches assigned team members to improve skills; sales, technical and others.
3. Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual market update reports on new services, competitors, business opportunities, etc.
4. Develops strategic client accounts and strategic opportunities from development to closing
5. Ensures that team members complete all account plans and work with team to ensure that plans meet objectives
6. Takes overall responsibility for ensuring successful delivery/implementation of solutions sold by the company
7. Works with Logistics department to review all orders and escalate any situations that may affect customer satisfaction
8. Ensures that MBC’s values and standards are maintained by team at all times.
9. Maintains an understanding of customer needs not currently offered by company and works with director to develop new appropriate solutions
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology along with additional qualifications in Business Administration and/or Sales Management
