The Barbados and Trinidad offices are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Assurance and Advisory (Audit) services practice as an Audit Senior.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting with solving client problems in your functional area.
• Providing audit, accounting and related advisory services to public and private clients in our various industry sectors predominantly in financial services.
• Acting as a lead member of an engagement team, whilst performing all aspects of the engagement, including:
• Planning,
• Fieldwork,
• Research on audit and accounting issues,
• Reviewing financial statements and disclosures,
• Coordinating and clearing all levels of review.

The successful candidate should possess the following attributes:

• Internationally recognized professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA etc.)
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in a public practice firm
• Experience with US GAAP, IFRS or similar recognized accounting standards
• Exposure to PCAOB, US GAAP/GAAS and International Accounting Standards is desirable
• Strong commitment to client service
• Excellent communication skills, prioritization and organization skills and proven ability to interact with clients and staff of various levels
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Experience in the financial services industry sector is an asset but not required.
