The Organisation:

Our client is seeking to appoint a highly driven Managing Director to join the senior management team and provide leadership and strategic input during an exciting period of sustained growth. With a reputation as one of the market leaders offering full import, wholesale, distribution and marketing services for internationally recognised FMCGs and pharmaceutical brands, this position provides an excellent opportunity to utilise your proven management skills. Their clientele includes hospitals, medical clinics and physicians as well as retail outlets such as pharmacies, supermarkets, convenience stores and other institutions.

Responsibilities

• Inspire a professional team to consistently give of their bestand achieve targeted results.
• Review existing Sales, Marketing and Operational procedures and implement new initiatives to contribute to strongly increasing sales revenues over the next 3 years.
• Monitor gross profit margins to ensure that they are maintained or improved.
• Develop significant sales potential in export markets including the OECS, the Virgin Islands, Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
• Become recognised as a leader and take the initiative in growing the company into being the most dynamic healthcare distributor in the Caribbean.

Qualifications & Experience

• A first degree in a medical or science field and/or an MBA will be required.
• A proven track record of implementing policies and procedures that contribute to revenue growth and operational excellence.
• Experience in managing a company involved in the medical field in the Caribbean would be ideal.
• Fluency in English, French and Spanish.
