BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
The B.V.I Health Services Authority (a client-centered healthcare organization) invites qualified and professional applicants for the position of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER. In conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer, the Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring the BVIHSA’s stability and growth by:
The Business Development Manager is required to support the Chief Executive Officer by ensuring that effective business development policies and strategies are developed. The role includes research, benchmarking, identifying best practice, performance management and executing ad hoc special projects as directed.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience
v Master’s of Healthcare Administration (MHA) or Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
v At least 5 years’ experience at a senior level of strategic or policy development field.
Licenses and/or registrations
v Valid BVI Driver’s License
Knowledge, skills and abilities
v Must be able to communicate and develop the goals and objectives of the organization pertaining to business development.
v Strong written and verbal communication skills.
v Strong negotiation skills.
v Strong people skills; must be able to relate to executive management and Board.
v A strategist who can think outside the box. Highly IT literate.
v Strong analytical skills and the ability to impart detailed data to others.
