We invite applications for a new Digicel Opportunity - Data Centre Agent
Primary objective of the job:
Interact directly with new and existing customers to promote Digicel's consumer data services. The Agent will be required to increase awareness of the company's products and services, with the view of increasing data usage to meet assigned targets in an effective and efficient manner.
Number of persons managed/supervised and their positions:
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the main benefits and features of all data enabled/smart devices
- Activate data plans for new and existing customers with a data compatible device
- Answer customer questions about Digicel's data plans and pricing
- Provide level one troubleshooting to resolve data related issues
- Provision GPRS settings on compatible handsets
- Demonstrate superior customer service skills in keeping with Digicel's training
- Provide feedback on opportunities and challenges
Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
- Minimum of 5 CXC/GCE O'level subjects including Mathematics and English
- At least 2 years customer service or sales experience
Functional Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A high level of initiative and self-motivation
- Determined focus on achieving targets
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Time management skills
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of smart phones and tablets

- Required to work 40 hours per week
- Required to work at outdoor events
Key Performance Indicators:
- Provide your services in prescribed store for no less than 8 hours each day
- Provide your services at outdoor events prior to, or post store working hours
- Provide your services in prescribed store for 5 days each week
- Achieve a minimum of 40 Data Activations per month
