Duties and Responsibilities:-

• Follows instructions as per direction from the Inventory Controller/ Supervisor to relevant warehousing department’s i.e.  , W/H1 W/H2, W/H1 upstairs and the Bond  area.
• Checks and assists in the counting of goods received and ensures they are of accurate quantity, type, and also acceptable quality before safely packing in designated storage areas.
• Moves, repacks and shrink wraps inventory as necessary ensuring a neat counting area.
• Receipt, accurate completion and prompt submission of all related paperwork for counted stock.
• Ensures all inventory are accurately labeled accordingly.
• Loading and or unloading Containers, Delivery Vans and other Vehicles carrying inventory as required.
• Maintains all warehouse equipment and tools in accordance to Industrial and internal requirements
• Adheres to security guide lines with regards to the handling of inventory and restrictions to defined locations/ areas within the warehouse.

•  Assists the Inventory controller/Clerk in preparation for and completion of inventory counts as necessary.
• Complies with Industrial and Internal Safety regulations and practices in warehouse operations.
• Performs other related tasks and duties as required by Management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Three CXC passes or other Warehouse related certification.
• Experience working within a Warehousing environment would be an asset
• Forklift driving certification would be an asset
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Police Record is required
