Internal Auditor

Reporting to the Senior Internal Auditor, the incumbent is responsible for the examination of transactions at all level including project contracts and investment, and determine compliance with the provision of relevant laws, regulations, policies and rules on internal controls. 

Minimum Requirements (Qualification, Skills and Knowledge)

• BSc. in Accounting or Management Studies (with Auditing courses) or ACCA Level I or equivalent qualifications;
• Two (2) years related working experience in accounting or operational auditing;
• Ability to work on own initiative and work unsupervised;
• Strong sense of integrity, confidentiality and good ethical standards;
• Ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts and prepare and present concise oral and written reports;
• Comprehensive knowledge of current auditing principles, standards, techniques and software,  for example, Sampling techniques, CAATs, VFM/Operational auditing, Risk assessments;
• Comprehensive knowledge of internal auditing procedures, including risk driven planning techniques and sampling methods involved in conducting audits, and the applicable International Auditing Standards; 

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Conduct systems, operational and financial audits and special assignments to assess the adequacy, efficiency, effectiveness in achieving desired objectives and compliance with relevant laws, regulations etc. 
2. Conduct special audits and special assignments;
3. Review and report on such matters as breakdown of internal controls; 

Other conditions of the job include potential physical threat and frequent lifting and moving of heavy computerized documents for reviewing, etc.

Basic Salary (Range)            -    $1,052,181 – 1,250,712 per annum
