Intercontinental Shipping Limited is a privately owned shipping agency and Custom Brokerage company established in 1999. The company's steady growth since its inception can be attributed to a corporate vision for customer service & professionalism.
Our company provides services that include Agency Representation, Special Project Management, Vessel Husbandry and Stevedoring, Immigration services, Container Logistics (LCL, FCL, and Break Bulk Cargo, Tankers), Handling of Oil and Gas Vessels, Customs Brokerage, Transportation and meet and greet services in Trinidad and Tobago .
We have three (3) Offices in Trinidad . The main office is located in Port of Spain , and a second one is located in Point Lisas. We have found our Point Lisas office a great asset as it is very convenient for customers located in Central and Southern Trinidad to get their documents in a timely manner, whereas our office in Port of Spain caters for customers in Northern and Western Trinidad. The third office is inside the Shell Trinidad Ltd. Compound and is used solely to provide brokerage and logistics services to Shell. ICSL currently employees over 45 full time employees to meet our customer's changing needs.
ICSL provides weekly import services to Trinidad from Europe, Far East , Canada. US Gulf Coast, US East Coast, Central and South America. Our service is further enhanced with the strategic alliances with our partners abroad that include: OTI, Puerto Rico Freight System, ZapCargo Toronto, Lombard Ocean, World Cargo Alliance (WCA), John S. Braid, Hoyer Tanks, and Sea Shipping Lines.
As evidence of our commitment to the health and safety of our employees and our customers, ICSL has been in the process of developing programs that will allow our company to be Health & Safety Certified as per OSHA's requirements by October 2008. Additionally, in order to continue with our pledge of meeting the challenges of worldwide markets, customer expectations and regulatory requirements, we are in the process of becoming ISO 9001:2000 certified with an expected certification date of December 2008.
