Information Technology Manager (MIS/IT 5)
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring accessibility to information systems requirements, determining and implementing optimal solutions to meet those requirements as well as planning, directing, managing and overseeing the activities and operations of the IT Department and coordinating the maintenance, development and acquisition off all IT systems and hardware campus-wide to meet both academic and business needs.
Minimum Requirements (Qualification, Skills and Knowledge)
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Performs ICT strategic planning by determining long and short range computer-based information management and processing needs; recommend goals, objectives, programmes and schedules to meet these goals; prepare budget and resource requirements for identified projects;
2. Formulates and implements policies in support of instructional and administrative software and hardware as well as telecommunications;
3. Conducts periodic long and short range studies to analyze the adequacy of information systems and the quality of present services, and make recommendations for improvements
4. Manage ICT and business process alignment by procuring relevant and appropriate technology in keeping with the College’s goal and monitor these systems’ effectiveness in meeting needs of users (students, staff);
5. Develops strategies to ensure data security and integrity of the organization’s network and computers systems.
Emoluments:
Basic Salary (Range) - $1,758,169.00 - $2,089,910.00 per annum
