The Information Security Administrator will define information security frameworks for existing and new systems as well as plan, develop and implement security policies across multiple platforms.

The Job:

The Information Security Administrator will define information security frameworks for existing and new systems as well as plan, develop and implement security policies across multiple platforms.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have:

• a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or a computer related field;
• at least three (3) years experience in both Microsoft Systems Administration and Open Systems Administration;
• MSCE certification and possess at least one (1) of the following certifications: CISSP, CISA, Security+, SSSCP, CIW, GSE, Cisco Firewall Specialist/Cisco VPN Specialist, CCSE, SCNP and/or SANS;
• experience with Cisco Firewalls, Network and Host Intrusion Detection, Cisco Switch and Router Security Configuration is desirable;
• possess strong investigative, analytical and computer forensic skills.
• a strong understanding of OS and network security weaknesses, vulnerabilities and remediation and TCP/IP networking and firewalls;
• strong interpersonal and problem solving skills;
• excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• an ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
