DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installs, configures and maintains an up-to-date production, testing and development environment for the Enterprise Collaboration, Process Automation and Project Management Platforms to meeting SLA targets
Develops, implements and maintains an up-to-date Business Continuity Plan for the Enterprise Collaboration, Process Automation and Project Management Platforms
Analyses, troubleshoots and resolves system performance and user issues
Evaluates, tests and recommends necessary software application products and services in support of Business Solution development efforts
Supports the migration from and retirement of legacy information systems
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science;
At least 5 years relevant work experience inclusive of Application construction , maintenance and implementation;
3-5 years relevant experience working with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or later.
Certifications in Databases or Business Application Development would be an asset.
COMPETENCIES:
Sound knowledge and/or experience with data base management systems, networks, servers and operating systems e.g. MSSQL, Oracle, Windows, UNIX, TCP/IP, Routers, Switches and the Internet.
Good knowledge of programming languages e.g. C#, PHP, .Net, SQL programming, Visual Studio.
Some knowledge of and basic level experience with application construction techniques.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Effective oral and written communication skills
Very strong customer service orientation, working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Creative and ability to apply systems thinking
Proficient in the use of MS Suite of programs
Ability to maintain high levels of integrity and professionalism
