IT Service Desk Analyst
We are currently seeking an IT Support (CCS) for our Eteck Park Wallerfield location
Responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot desktop issues and enterprise applications, local/networking printing, e-mail, connectivity, and hardware issues.
Troubleshoot and replace laptop and PC hardware.
Troubleshoot electronic on-line access connections, windows application servers, and LAN/WAN connectivity from Windows desktop platforms.
Hardware upgrades, hardware disposal, asset inventory, software inventory, remote imaging, new hire setup, termination, relocation, and software updates.
Build Windows 2003, 2008 Intel server platforms
Build deploy new workstations (desktop & laptop) using latest imaging software
Install upgrade hardware software on Windows 7, Windows 8, XP workstations
Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for difficult user problems.
Log, prioritize, assign and troubleshoot all calls, voicemails, emails, trouble tickets and walk-up requests reporting technical problems. When appropriate, determine appropriate group for escalation.
Manage deliverables associated with a project by prioritizing, tracking, and completing assigned tasks.
Develop credibility with customers by providing timely/accurate support and maintaining positive relations through effective customer follow-up.
Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
2-3 years of experience with Windows Windows 7/XP, Microsoft 2000-2010 Office Suite, Microsoft Exchange and Antivirus applications.
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or MCSE certification preferred.
An understanding of networking concepts, including LAN technology.
Work experience in windows server (2000 and above) platforms and business applications. Experience in Windows Active Directory Services and IIS.
Superior customer service skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Requires analytical, problem solving skills and excellent organizational skills.
Team Player with the ability to maintain performance in a high-pressure environment
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong work ethic.
Display a positive attitude while helping users identify and solve problems.
