Summary of Position:

 

Inventory Clerk would be part of the Industrial Rubber Products Team and will help represent our clients’ portfolio with unparalleled integrity.   

 

As the Inventory Clerk you will: 

 

  • Be familiar with any accounting software, Inventory Module.

  • Identify slow moving stocks and obsolete items.

  • Ensure that goods received and dispatched are done efficiently and in a timely manner.

  • Work closely with the Manager/Supervisor to ensure stock in all warehouses and showroom are easily identifiable and displayed.

  • Ensure that stock situated in the storerooms and showroom, are accounted for and periodic random stock counts are done to ensure stock levels comply with the computer stock.

  • Ensure all warehouse stock are displayed in an organized manner according to warehousing procedures.

  • Ensure proper documentation is logged for all goods received and removed.

     

     Requirements:

 

  • Five CXC O’Levels passes including Maths or English.
  • Certificate in Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum Experience 2+ Years in similar Environment
  • Computer Literacy with proficiency in Windows and Ms Office (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of an Accounting Software would be an asset.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • May be required to lift and/or move up heavy objects.
  • The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside the warehouse and inside office in heat/cold and or dry/arid conditions.
  • Required to use personal protective equipment for warehouse receipt/dispatch of inventory.
  • Forklift Truck Operator Certificate would be an asset.
