INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER (IAM)
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the IAM will be responsible for the overall internal audit program for both
companies. The IAM will help these organizations to evaluate and strengthen operating controls, guidelines
and processes and will ensure that such controls are adequate, functional and adhere to industry standards,
regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
Key Functions
1. Develop, co-ordinate and implement Internal Auditing activities, policies, procedures and programs.
2. Review accounting procedures.
3. Determine and test adequacy of internal controls .
4. Supervise, conduct and report on independent audits of records and activities.
5. Investigate and determine causes of irregularities and errors.
6. Advise senior management of internal control matters.
7. Liaise with external auditors.
Suitable candidate should:
- Have a minimum of five (5) years experience in auditing, part of which should be at a supervisory level.
- Be a Chartered Accountant – ACCA/CPA.
- Have strong analytical, problem solving, written/verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Be able to adapt to change quickly, multitask and to work under pressure.
- Have a working knowledge of AccPac.
- Own a reliable motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
