The ICT TECHNICAL TECHNICAL TEAM LEADER (VOICE) is responsible for the management of the ICT Technical team which performs the implementation and Support of Voice services for ICT customers as well as Voice services to Fixed line customers

JOB SUMMARY
The ICT TECHNICAL TECHNICAL TEAM LEADER (VOICE) is responsible for the management of the ICT Technical team which performs the implementation and Support of Voice services for ICT customers as well as Voice services to Fixed line customers throughout Trinidad and Tobago. The ICT Technical Voice Team is responsible for the Operation & Maintenance of the ICT Voice Core (Broadsoft servers, SBC's, customer gateways as well as other network elements) as well as the delivery of services to customers over the above nodes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Lead the ICT Technical Voice team to ensure teams have the tools, training, and knowledge to efficiently and effectively meet the needs of our internal and external customers.
  2. Provide the required supervision to Engineers to ensure services are delivered on schedule with emphasis placed on quality
  3. Manage the day to day delivery of Voice E1s, Hosted PBX solutions and SIP trunks via Digicel data circuits as well as OTT (over the top)
  4. Ensure the required preventative maintenance is being performed on all core elements on schedule.
  5. Ensure that SLAs for customer implementations are met and exceeded
  6. Ensure that SLAs for customer support are met and exceeded
  7. Manage the ICT services KPIs and KQIs to exceed customer expectations
  8. Continuously improve the products and services provided to our customers by product optimisation
  9. Manage new projects and products from conception to delivery
  10. Perform the required R&D to ensure the services required by customers are developed and tested as required.
  11. Seek opportunities to optimise the network design and the way we perform our deployments.
  12. Provide weekly dashboard reports to demonstrate the productivity of the team

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS
  • BSc. Electrical and Computer Engineering / Computer Science / ICT or related field of study
  • Minimum of 3 years experience performing similar role / duties.
  • Experience in functioning at a Leadership role in a similar area
  • Working knowledge of legacy PBX systems/ solutions
  • Working knowledge of SIP based PBX solutions
  • Experience in working in a Switching environment
  • Experience in the Operation and maintenance of Cloud Telephony systems would be considered a valuable asset.
  • Experience in an ISP environment would be considered a valuable asset.
  • An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
