Summary

The Human Resource Manager (HRM) will be responsible for ensuring that the company has sufficient qualified, trained staff at all times, that staff is treated fairly and in accordance with the laws of the land. and that programs, processes and policies are in place to keep staff motivated

Duties

The main duties include, but are not limited to:

• Being responsible for the recruitment, selection and orientation of staff
• Administering HR related documents including offer letters, contracts of employment, job specifications and job descriptions
• Identifying and addressing the training needs of staff
• Ensuring staff appraisals are done on a timely basis
• Ensuring employees files are kept up to date
• Planning and coordinating staff and community functions
• Monitoring and ensuring all leave (vacation, maternity, sick, study etc) are taken in accordance with company policy
• Ensuring all disciplinary actions taken are just, fair and keeping with the laws of the land 

Requirements

• Three (3) years’ experience in Human Resource Management
• A 1^st degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent
• Average skill in using Microsoft Office including  Excel, Word and Power Point
• Sound knowledge of the laws, policies and procedures relating to the Human Resource function
• Fully functional motor vehicle
