Our Client is looking for a Human Resource Generalist who would be responsible for the administration of all Human Resource systems, assists in the execution of the Human Resource Departmental Plan and supports the Human Resource Director with all organisational initiatives.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the position area are as follows:-

  • Assist the Human Resource Director in the day to day functions
  • Assist in developing, implementing and advising on policies, procedures and programs relating to the effective use of the organization’s workforce in alignment with strategic goals;
  • Conducts and co-ordinates the recruitment and selection process as directed by the Human Resource and Administration Manager;
  • Develops and maintains the Human Resource data base to include job descriptions, benefits administration such as the pension plan, health plan and travel allowance and telephone allowance.
  • Administrator of the performance management system, in addition to advising and providing training for end users
  • Assist in developing the annual departmental budget and assist with the monthly review.
  • Facilitation of employee orientation, coordinate and develop training plans in conjunction with supervisors and line mangers to allow for building capacity;
  • Conducts market assessments to further develop the organisation’s total compensation package, reward and recognition programs.
  • Supervision of Administrative Staff, conduct performance evaluations, analyze and identify training needs, provide coaching and counseling;
  • Facilitate employee services, prepare and disseminates HR related employee communication;
  • Collates and prepare HR data in order to efficiently and effectively create appropriate weekly and monthly reports.
  • Manage and maintain HRIS, employee files and the HR Filing system;
  • Designs and implements cost effective procedures for internal controls;
  • Provide exemplary customer service to all stakeholders, business partners and employees;
  • Support the development and maintenance of a team environment by performing other related duties;

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management  
  • At least five years of Human Resources experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in an HRIS application
  • Good business acumen, administration of benefits and other HR programs.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
